But where is HOME ???

Drawing houses… I guess we all did that when we were kids… I wonder now, what was going through our minds in those times?! Was it the way we saw our house we lived in or the house we wished to have…? Hm… I’m sure we never thought about those children/people who were and still are dreaming to have a house… a place which they can call HOME… and say “I wanna go home”.
There was a time when days were dark and nights were cold, people were acting like they lost their soul and everybody was trying not to cry. Trying to get by and trying not to feel out of control and if you look hard enough, sometimes you’ll find a place that might just remind you of home. But if it doesn’t feel like home, you can do what I do … just pretend you don’t feel so alone. At least these were my thoughts a year ago… I reached to the conclusion that HOME is not a place is a FEELING.
So, I hope that everybody is going to find/build this classical image of our dreamed and future home.
And I also hope that we can show the way to a better day for all the young, ’cause we were born for all the world to see that we all can live with love and peace.
Did you knew…?
In 2005, an estimated 100 million people worldwide were homeless.
European Union: 3,000,000 (UN-HABITAT 2004)
United Kingdom: 10,459 rough sleepers, 98,750 households in temporary accommodation (Department for Communities and Local Government 2005)
Canada: 150,000 (National Homelessness Initiative – Government of Canada)
Australia: 99,000 (ABS: 2001 Census)
United States: Chronically homeless people (those with repeated episodes or who have been homeless for long periods) 847,000-3,470,000
Japan: 20,000-100,000 (some figures put it at 200,000-400,000) Reports show that homelessness is on the rise in Japan since the mid-1990s.

Heartbeats

Albert Camus once wrote, “Blessed are the hearts that can bend; they shall never be broken.” But I wonder if there’s no breaking then there’s no healing, and if there’s no healing then there’s no learning. And if there’s no learning then there’s no struggle. But struggle is a part of life. So must all hearts be broken? (OTH)

Beaming with joy

On a shooting day, with people I hardly know, in a place I never been, seeing an orange phonebooth, with 3 people acting inside, with other people around me, in a silence but also in a noise, with a lot of questions in your mind… and then I see this girl- watching it with so much interest, passion, understanding and with a big smile on her face. I was fascinated by her – the way she was impressed , the way she looked…. the way she was!
