Here with me…
From this moment on, if you ever feel like letting go,
I won’t let you fall.
When all hope is gone, I know that you can carry on.
We’re gonna see the world out,
I’ll hold you ’til the hurt is gone. (NB)

Human Rights
Peace, in the sense of the absence of war, is of little value to someone who is dying of hunger or cold. It will not remove the pain of torture inflicted on a prisoner of conscience. It does not comfort those who have lost their loved ones in floods caused by senseless deforestation in a neighboring country. Peace can only last where human rights are respected, where the people are fed, and where individuals and nations are free. – Dalai Lama
All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood.
10 of December was chosen to honour the United Nations General Assembly’s adoption and proclamation, on the 10th of December 1948, of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the first global enunciation of human rights.
The 60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights occurs on December 10, 2008, and the UN Secretary-General has launched a year-long campaign to lead up to this anniversary. Because the UDHR holds the world record as the most translated document (with more than 360 language versions available), organizations around the globe will be able to use the year to focus on helping people everywhere learn about their rights.
This campaign reached Romania too… at least my university where we had a small event happening. Students were brought together to be informed about this issue. We were invited to watch a movie called “Blood Diamond” . They didn’t ask for money by the entrance in the auditorium… they just said if we want to leave some money ( unspecified- as much as you can, want or can afford) for charity we can do that after we will leave the auditorium. That money will be sent to poor children from Romania ( a named organization, forgot the name of it) who are indeed to use that money…especially that Christmas is coming…
It’s good to have people who want to change some points of views… and of course who want to help other.
We can do that… so we should try…
NO more BLOOD…. NO more HUNGER…. NO more VIOLENCE…
So respect the Human Rights!
