Colouring my life
I guess everybody knows the quote “Life is not only black and white”. In my world ‘life’ was not all colourful, at least ‘orange’ didn’t play a big role. I honestly admit that I didn’t even consider it to be a colour. I couldn’t imagine how this colour could paint my life. But because from time to time changes come into our world… ‘orange’ surrendered me. I started to adore it. So, I reached the conclusion that autumn and my life would be “black & white” without orange.

On top of the world…
…So what motivates me? John Ruskin once said: “Mountains are the beginning and end of natural scenery” and the canvas of white snow. Blue sky and green pine is certainly worth the trip alone. Then there is the air. The altitude is thinner and its powers of invigoration instant. Just watching your breath vaporize as you step outside first thing in the morning makes your heart leap. Naturally the temperatures are low, you simply can’t have snow without them, but with the high-tech insulated clothing available today, there’s no reason for those with even the feeblest circulation to actually suffer. And, in any case, most of the time you are feeling the glow of the sun on your face, endowing you with a vibrant feeling that will last until bedtime…
