Then there is the air. The altitude is thinner and its powers of invigoration instant. Just watching your breath vaporize as you step outside first thing in the morning makes your heart leap. Naturally the temperatures are low, you simply can’t have snow without them, but with the high-tech insulated clothing available today, there’s no reason for those with even the feeblest circulation to actually suffer. And, in any case, most of the time you are feeling the glow of the sun on your face, endowing you with a vibrant feeling that will last until bedtime…
